2016 Toyota Noah Review

Toyota Noah is little known vehicle in US or Europe from Japanese giant. In fact this model is exclusively made and sold for the Asian market. It is an MPV capable to accommodate up to 8 passengers firstly produced back in 2001. Its redesign was made back in 2007, and upcoming 2016 Toyota Noah belongs to third generation of the model. This generation started with 2014 makeover, when Noah MPV received various interesting changes. Here is what we can expect from new, 2016 model year:

The 2016 Toyota Noah is 4.69m long, 1.69m wide and 1.82m tall. Its wheelbase is 2.85m long. The shape of this minivan is boxy, which enables the maximum usage of space. With latest redesign, Noah entry and exit is easier thanks to its lower floor. New model year will not bring much news. Its changes will be mainly cosmetic, in order to keep the model fresh on the market, but design changes most likely won’t happen.

Exterior could gain few additional color choices, and probably few additional features. Noah comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights with leveling, smart start and entry system, rear spoiler, aero kit, twin moonroofs and much more. On the inside, changes that could be included are related to equipment and, at best, new interior trim. The bigger changes will, most likely happen later on, possibly for 2017 or 2018 model year, when Toyota could make a facelift of the model. Before that, Noah will go mostly unchanged, with some details and tweaks that could be added in order to keep it fresh.

Depending on markets, or countries, whichever you prefer, Noah is available in either two or three trims. Those trims include G, V and, additionally, V Limited. All trims of the model are highly equipped. Some of the feature highlights include tilt and telescope steering wheel, 4.2-inch color TFT multi-information display, rear A/C, Air Purifier/nanoe, 6.1-inch touchscreen with audio system with 6 speakers, 6 CDs and much more.

The engine that runs the 2016 Toyota Noah is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol unit. It is capable to deliver 150 horsepower and 142 lb-ft of torque.

The 2016 Toyota Noah hybrid system is based on 1.8-liter with 98 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with electric motors and battery pack for great performances and stunning fuel economy rates.

Both hybrid and regular Noah are paired with CVT and either two-wheel or four-wheel drive.

Average fuel economy of the regular Noah model is 16 km per liter while hybrid variant goes about 23.8 km per liter.

Release date of the model is expected sometime during the last few months of this year, possibly during November, and it should on sale early on next year, 2016. Pricing will be quite similar to the current model, meaning it start at approximately $30,000.
